Wicked Kitchen Launches First Plant-Based Restaurant At San Diego County Fair

That’s our Wicked AmazeBao in the picture, featuring Wicked Kitchen Amazeballs in Korean gojuchang with pickled onions, peppers, cucumbers, and cilantro in a soft bao bun. Just one of several menu items at the new Wicked Kitchen Restaurant, which debuted at the San Diego County Fair on June 7. Other menu items include a meatball pasta, fishless sandwich, spicy taco, vegetable side dishes, and Wicked ice cream bars. Wicked Kitchen is the fair’s first fully plant-based restaurant, located in the old 17 Hands Restaurant & Bar on the Plaza de Panama overlooking the Paddock Green. Held at the Del Mar Fairground, the San Diego County fair runs through July 4 and features 115 food and drink purveyors and 260 commercial vendors. Kudos to the fair organizers for welcoming a full-on plant-based restaurant—we’re honored that you chose Wicked Kitchen!
