Spicy Chorizo Cheese Dogs

We take the humble hot dog up a notch with these quick and easy plant-based dogs. With vegan cheese, spicy chorizo, pickled jalapenos, fried onions and two sauces, they’re irresistible!

Ingredients

2 Wicked Kitchen Chorizo Style Sausages
Vegetable oil
2 plant-based hot dog buns (some brands contain milk)
2 slices plant-based cheese (such as Follow Your Heart Smoked Gouda)
A few squirts Wicked Kitchen Garlic Mayo With Caramelized Onion
A few squirts Wicked Kitchen Wicked Sriracha Sauce
2 Tbsp pickled jalapenos
2 Tbsp fried onions
1 Tbsp chopped scallions
Cilantro leaves

Instructions

Coat the sausages in a little oil then grill or pan-sear them over medium heat until lightly browned all over, 5 to 10 minutes, turning for even cooking.
Toast the buns on the grill or on the side of the pan.
Lay a cheese slice on the toasted side of each bun. Top with the cooked chorizo, a few squirts of Wicked mayo and sriracha, some pickled jalapenos, fried onions, scallions, and cilantro leaves.
