• For even more flavor, toast the cumin seeds in a hot dry pan before adding them to the blender. 
• Another flavor bump: use 1 small canned chipotle pepper instead of the smoked paprika. The paprika is a shortcut here, and the chipotle will add more flavor because of the adobo canning sauce.
• If you’re heat tolerance is low, leave out a few of the chiles de arbol.
