We’re also whipping out our Wicked Healthy Cheez Base sauce for this one. Made mainly from cashews, carrots and garlic, with several seasoning components added in, this silky and cheezy sauce is tossed with the paper-thin potato slices and baked over a bed of onions to create the perfect and easy comfort food dish that everyone at the table will love.
Just a quick tip from us for the potatoes: Once you slice them, you’ll have to move rather quickly, because they’ll oxidize (turn brown). Rinsing or soaking them helps prevent this, but we recommend not rinsing them for this recipe, because the cheeze sauce will not adhere to and absorb as well into the potatoes. So speed is the key here!
